He’s smart
He’s attractive. He plays Dexter Morgan, America’s favorite serial killer who spends his days solving crimes and his nights committing them. During Season 8, Angel Batista wasn’t always played by David Zayas.
His son David Zayas Jr
replaces his father in some shots, as the two look eerily similar. Seen in the first season, Dexter has a large scar on his left side. Later, in Season 2, the scar moved to his right side, leaving his left side unseen.

Absolutely brilliant. The visual contrast between the darkness of Dexter’s secret life and the glitz of Miami adds an almost surreal quality. The character development is perfect, slowly bringing out the context so that we can see the development of Dexter’s sociopathic personality and his confusion of human behavior in relation to his own.
The fact that he is an expert in blood splatter
Dexter is an actor in his own life; his relationships with his colleagues and his personal life are well shown in the video media. It is a dark work, but set in the strange world of life in Miami, it is almost believable. Developers of this series should also seek out Andrew Wax’s books.
